Hi!
I tried to calculate PET with the microclimate data in a place where have a moderate climate. however , the calculation result is extremely high.
For example, the PET value is up to 30.8 in winter(middle hot stress) ,while Ta is about 5~6℃,which is incompatible with common sense. and when Ta is about 25℃,the PET is over 41℃(Extreme heat stress)。
By comparing with other papers, the data in other parts of China are consistent with common sense. So I think the PET value is abnormal.
I'd like to know I wonder if anyone has the same problem ? and what's the matter ? Is the calculation model unapplicable to some areas/climate type? will the reason be the global radiation is too high to influence the result? will there be some calculation condition or operating steps that I didn't do well?
I'll give some data as a example to help find out the problem.
thank you for your patient reading and I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice!
the measurement data are as follows:
