I've just tried to store images of Sky View Editor and open them in Rayman . As described in the help file I unchecked " Include Overlays ". But whenever I wanted to open the picture in Rayman the message was " wrong image type" . It appeared no matter which format I was using ( .png .bmp .emf ) How can I transfer them correctly?
In RayMan sky view factor editor click "Open horizon limitation" (the second button starting from the left), not "import horizon limitation" (the third).
The story behind that is, that there are different .bmp types. RayMan internally uses a binary bmp (black or not), while SkyHelios stores a bmp (as usually needed) with color gradients of RGB. RayMan can read those, but only using the import function.

EDIT: In a previous version of this post I confused the icons. Sorry for that!
thanks for the file! I tried with a standard image viewer and found, that your .bmp image actually is a .png file with a wrong file extention. You might have a old and buggy SkyHelios version. Anyway, knowing that and as a workaround, you can load your file in your favorite image editor (e.g. Paint, Gimp,?) and save it as a (real) bitmap (.bmp). This should load just fine in RayMan. As soon as that worked, please don't forget to klick "Cut off".
Best regards, Dominik
EDIT: I just found I confused the icons. Please use the second icon (seen from the left), that says "Open horizon limitation" as a "mouse over quickhelp". I'll correct that also in my previous post.
