I am using RayMan 1.2 to study two situations in outdoor environment: one street without trees and another with trees. So, I put data (air temperature, relative humidity, air speed and other parameters) and did the simulation, but the software gave the same values to PET and PMV. I suppose I forgot some thing to check or trees values are not correct.
I couldn?t find option "Reduce G by obstacles" to mark in version 1.2 of software. I inserted data about localization and weather (air temperature, air speed, relative humidity and medium radiante temperature) to calculate PET and PMV. In situation with trees, when I added ?decíduous trees? and repeated steps, results didn?t change even with tree?s shadow in the analyzed point. Longitude: 37° 10? Latitude: 10° 48? Altitude: 9m Time Zone: -3.0
Ta (°C) = 30.5 RH (%) = 82.1 V (m/s) = 0.5 TRMt (°C) = 30.5
Obstacles: Deciduous Trees X = 3 Y= -0.50 Z= 9 Radius = 8 L = 4 D = 0.7
the "Additional pre-settings" can be found in "Input" --> "Additional pre-settings".
However, in your case, I suspect the error is somewhere else:
You wrote you specified the mean radiant temperature (Tmrt). In this case, RayMan will consider Tmrt as the local Tmrt at your point of interest! You basically specified the result. And of course, this will not be recalculated. If you don't want that, you need to specify either Global radiation (G) or cloud cover (cc) [and remove the Tmrt pre-setting!].
