when did that error occur? Please describe what you intended to do, what data you used and your configuration in as much detail as possible. Otherwise I can't possibly know what went wrong?
Sorry Sir, I use the RayMan Pro get from Dr. Matzarakis. And I want to caculate the thermal indices PMV,UTCI,PET. I have the climate parameters like this: time ta rh v G 19:30 30.8 71.6 0.3 0 19:20 30.2 76.6 0.3 0 20:00 30.2 76 0 0 19:00 30.2 77.4 0 0
Can I use this data to caculate PET, UTCI without sky view factor? The RayMan 12 doesn`t have any error, but when I use RayMan pro, there has an error. I want to send you a picture, but I don`t know how to do that.
ok, still guessing, but lets give it a try: I assume the error occurs immediately after you hit "New", right? I further assume your desired output is a "Data table". (Which Items did you select for output in the "Table" menu?)
I guess the error is in reading your input file. It translates to "List index out of range. Maximum of (-1) exceeded."
This points to an error with your input data file. Does it by any chance contain empty rows? Or blanks at the end of a row? Is there missing values?
Apart from that, I think you're lacking a "Date" or a "Day of year" column?
well? first your settings in the pictures disagree, but I assume the error is thrown either way.
So, first, you seems to have a problem with your geographic position. for both, longitude and latitude there should be something like 121°00' and 34°00'. You appear to have a question mark there?!
Dear Sir, Sorry for my big picture. I input the longitude and latitude of Shanghai manually, and then add the location to the software. The longitude in RayMan 1.2 is also "121?", but RayMan 1.2 can work.
I wonder that maybe my computer system can`t work well with the new version.
So can you caculate the data on your software and send a picture to me? I really don`t know where is wrong. The same data work well in RayMan 1.2 but doesn`t work with RayMan Pro.
even if that works (why so ever, it is not supposed to!). I would definitely not trust in any results calculated based on that!
Please remove the strangely encoded entry in the locations.lst (or by clicking "Remove") and enter proper values.
I checked with the rest of your data together with a location of 121°/34° and did not experience any error. However, I can not even try with your strangely encoded location, as it will be automatically converted to 0°0' on my system.
I use the location in the location lst, like Nanjing. But the software has the same error. It also presents longitude 118°8? as 118?8?. My Chinese computer system may cause the error, i think.
Well, did you try just typing in the location field? If not please do so?
There is only very few differences between RayMan 1.3 and RayMan Pro, especially for the basic functions. There should be no difference at all concerning the file handling? Thats a bit confusing?
Can you please also check your "Input" menu? Especially if "Datafile" is checked?
Dear dominik: I have the same question, when I use the RayMan Pro. Regrettably, I can not deal with my question although I have done what you said, so I want to need more help from you. Best, Xiwen Feng
