I'm a new user of RayMan. I'm trying to calculate PET and UTCI index using RayMan pro. I'm using four input parameters such as Air temperature, Wind speed, Relative humidity and Global radiation. I have created a input data file for a time series data.
Could you please tell me, do I still need to use date and time data, geographic data, personal data, and cloth and activity data for calculating PET and UTCI.
Or, the default personal data, and cloth and activity data will be used during the index calculation.
RayMan will calculate based on the values present in the input data file. If there is any parameter required, that is not present in the input data file, the value specified in the graphical user interface (GUI) will be used.
You can therefore create a datafile holding only some of the required parameters and specify the others in the GUI. However, those parameters will stay the same throughout the calculations.
The personal data can be modified in the GUI. However, this only has some effect for some of the indices (please refer to the RayMan manual for more details).
