To do my thesis, I need to evaluating the heat fluxes in the outdoor environment. For radiation fluxes, I use outputs of RayMan model and equations used in it also. but I faced a question about "Linke Turbidity factor" used into the Rayman model, because it does NOT explained into the documentations of RayMan model. Due to the multiple sources on this topic, I was a bit confusing. I would appreciate if you would guide me in this case.
the Linke Turbidity Factor modifies the optical transmissivity of the atmosphere and therefore needs to be considered in the calculations for direct, diffuse and global radiation. In RayMan it can be set to a fix value or it can be approximated atomatically based on day of year, latitude, and the relative humidity.
The calculation of linke turbidity in RayMan is based on physics of KondratYew (1977) and VDI 3789.
