I have installed Sky Helios. However when I attempt to run it gives an error saying Entry point not found. Also some error related to Spatialite. Secondly how can one start working in Sky Helios after loading a google earth image.
Thanks for your prompt reply. I tried but it is still giving me the same error. Plz help!
Secondly as correctly indicated by you Google earth image is not a supported type. Wanted to know how to use the raster option(.jpeg).
Also could you help me by outlining the steps to create an .obs file. I did try in Rayman to trace over the bitmap but am unable to trace over the complete bitmap as I am unable to pan and move over the other parts of the bitmap. Is there a simpler way of generating an .obs file for eg by importing sketchup files or .3ds files. Sorry about asking such basic questions. Your help will greatly help me.
what does the error message say precisely? Please provide as much detail as possible! What does the SkyHelios console (the black window) show at that time?
Raster files are supposed to provide terrain elevation in SkyHelios. They therefore should not be images, but elevation rasters!
.obs files can currently only be derived from polygon shapefiles using the shapetoobs tool for QGIS. Please see the RayMan manual for details.
The first dialog that appears reads" The procedure entry point gzdirect could not be located in the dynamic link library C:UsersDesktopSkyheliosSkyhelios_20180607libSpatialiteIibxml2-2.dll.
The second error message reads
Skyhelios is unable to load Spatialite. Please check if the dependencies are installed properly. This is a critical error. Skyhelios cannot work without SQLite!
SQLogic error or missing database.
The specified procedure could not be found.
The black screen thereafter displays error pertaining to Depthshadow and material.
ok? I'm currently not sure why this is happening on your system, but can you try one thing? Just go to your SkyHelios directory (which I assume is C:UsersDesktopSkyheliosSkyhelios_20180607), locate the file libSpatialitezlib1.dll and copy zlib1.dll into the main SkyHelios folder. Then retry.
