I get results for PMV with RayMan Pro different from ones calculated with some online calculators (like http://www.eat.lth.se/fileadmin/eat/Term...oe/PMV-PPD.html) using ISO 7730. Are there some differences in the PMV calculation procedure with RayMayn Pro in comparison with the one of ISO7730, or that is due to numerical (round off) errors? The discrepancies are for different combinations of temperature, mean radiant temperature and relative humidity, wind, activity, clothing insulation.
I used the mean radiant temperature as an input variable. I think, in that case, the location is of no importance. I calculate the activity input in the RayMan by multiplying the metabolic rate with the mean body surface (1.8 m2).
I don't know what presumptions that page actually does or does not consider, but for the second row, with an air temp of 15°C and a mean radiant temperature of 18°C, -2.18 (class "cool") appears way too low to me. Also for the last row I'd expect something indicating some heat load. 0.79, however, only is in the lower range of the class "slightly warm"…
